Parker Bell is a Florida-based mystery writer whose books are full of humor, suspense, and local color.
Bell's protagonist, PI Jack Hartigan, is a likeable and relatable character who finds himself in all sorts of crazy situations. In The Key Lime Crime, Hartigan is hired to find a missing dog. But when the dog's owner turns up dead, Hartigan finds himself investigating a murder.
In The Gulf Coast Caper, Hartigan is hired to protect a valuable painting. But when the painting is stolen, Hartigan must team up with a beautiful art thief to get it back.
And in The Tampa Bay Treasure, Hartigan is hired to find a lost treasure. But when he finds it, he realizes that it's not what he expected.
Bell's books are full of humor, suspense, and local color. They are a great read for anyone who loves a good mystery.
About Parker Bell
Parker Bell was born and raised in Florida. He has worked as a journalist, a teacher, and a private investigator. He now lives in Tampa Bay with his wife and two children.
Bell has always loved to write. He started writing mystery novels in the early 2000s. His first novel, The Key Lime Crime, was published in 2005. Since then, he has published three more novels in the Jack Hartigan series.
Bell's books have been praised for their humor, suspense, and local color. They have been featured in The Tampa Bay Times, The Miami Herald, and The Orlando Sentinel.
Bell is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and the Florida Writers Association. He is also a frequent speaker at mystery writing conferences.
