Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes is a prologue to the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It is a standalone game that was released in 2014. Ground Zeroes is set in 1975, nine years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The player takes control of Big Boss, the legendary mercenary who is tasked with infiltrating Camp Omega, a US military black site in Cuba, to rescue two prisoners.

Ground Zeroes is a shorter game than previous Metal Gear Solid titles, but it is still packed with content. The game features a variety of missions, including stealth, action, and puzzle-solving. Walkthrough

The game is divided into two main missions:

Ground Zeroes: Infiltrate Camp Omega and rescue the two prisoners.
Deja Vu: Return to Camp Omega and destroy the Metal Gear ZEKE.

Ground Zeroes

Infiltrate Camp Omega and rescue the two prisoners.

Start by sneaking into the camp from the north side. There are a number of ways to do this, but the easiest way is to climb the fence and then crawl through the grass.
Once you're in the camp, head to the interrogation room. The prisoners are being held in a cell on the second floor.
Use the vents to sneak into the interrogation room. Be careful not to be seen by the guards.
Once you're in the interrogation room, rescue the prisoners and then escape from the camp.

Deja Vu

Return to Camp Omega and destroy the Metal Gear ZEKE.

Start by infiltrating the camp from the south side. This time, you'll need to use a disguise to get past the guards.
Once you're in the camp, head to the hangar where the Metal Gear ZEKE is being held.
Use the vents to sneak into the hangar. Be careful not to be seen by the guards.
Once you're in the hangar, plant the explosives on the Metal Gear ZEKE. Then, escape from the camp.

Tips

Use stealth to your advantage. Sneak around the guards and avoid being detected.
Use the environment to your advantage. Use cover to hide from the guards and use objects to distract them.
Don't be afraid to experiment. There are many different ways to complete each mission. Try different approaches and see what works best for you.
Be patient. Ground Zeroes is a challenging game. Don't get discouraged if you fail a mission. Just try again and learn from your mistakes.

Cheats

There are a number of cheats that you can use to make Ground Zeroes easier.

Infinite ammo: To get infinite ammo, start a new game and then enter the following code at the title screen: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, START.
Invisibility: To become invisible, start a new game and then enter the following code at the title screen: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, Y, START.
Super speed: To get super speed, start a new game and then enter the following code at the title screen: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, L, R, START.

In addition to the main missions and side missions, Ground Zeroes also includes a number of other features, such as:

Online co-op: You can team up with a friend to complete missions.
Challenge missions: These are special missions that test your skills.
Snake Eater 3D: Naked Sample: A port of the 3DS game Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is included with Ground Zeroes.
