Dragon Ball Vol 12: Enter Trunks, the Mysterious Time Traveler from the Future

Frieza is seeking revenge for his previous defeat and is determined to destroy Goku. Goku arrives just in time to save his friends and a fierce battle ensues.

Goku is able to defeat Frieza and King Cold with the help of his friends. However, the battle takes its toll on Goku and he is severely injured. Trunks returns to the future with the Dragon Balls and uses them to revive Goku and his friends. Goku is grateful to Trunks for saving his life and promises to train him to become a powerful warrior.
